"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we'll be polishing our surface. Once our application pad has been removed from our buffer, it's now time to install the polishing pad. We're going to stretch that pad over the entire surface and pull those draw strings tight and make sure you tie a knot with those draw strings and stuff the extra string underneath. If you take a look at the back of my vehicle, you can see an area where I applied some polish to and an area where I didn't. You can see a line going right down the center of it. When the polish starts to dry it will start to look a little hazy. This tells you that it's time that you can start buffing it out. With our polishing bonnet installed, we're going to buff this out in the same fashion that we have applied it. I'm going to keep a firm grip but I'm not going to push down. I'm just going to use some sweeping motions until I get all that shined up. That is going to leave me a nice shine on my vehicle."
