"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about electrical safety. This tool is equipped with a polarized plug which means that one of the prongs is larger than the other prong. Which means that you want to use it only on an outlet that is also a polarized outlet again one side is just a little bit bigger than the other side. You want to make sure that you are not using your tool in any wet or damp locations this will increase the chance of an electric shock. Also you want to make sure you never abuse the cord the cord is the life line of your tool you want to check it for cracks, wears, tears anything that could potentially damage the tool or cause injury to yourself. If it is damaged you want to make sure and get it repaired immediately."
