"Hello! My name Ron Sanders from Personal Touch Custom Auto World. On behalf of Expert Village, we will now explain some of the various tools that we use in tinting windows. The first tool that we use is called the slide swiper. This consists of just the hard plastic surface with the rubber blade implanted inside of the plastic. What we generally use this for is applying film and squeegeeing out the water. This surface is rubberized, so this mixed with the soap solution is perfect for getting in those close edges and keeping an even pattern and even cleaning the window as you put the tint on. It’s also great for going inside and doing back windows. It allows you to stretch into the areas where your hand can’t reach, and get down in the edges and ends of the window. This tool is very helpful on cars such as hatchbacks or cars with very large rear depth windows; this tool is very durable. Usually, after using it to clean the tint, it’s wise to always clean the surface, because it’s rubber, it can pick sometimes debris and sand that can cause the tint to get scratched. Again, this is slide swiper, and that concludes this segment on this tool."
