"I am Elena Brouwer, International Etiquette Center in Hollywood, Florida. You can find us on the web at etiquettecenter.com. To continue our office etiquette, sometimes when we are speaking with our bosses or other people in the office we seem to be a little bit rushed to finish our business. Let’s observe this scene. A: It’s interesting you should mention that, tell me more about that. B: Well how many more questions do you have because I really need to rush and because I have another interview to go to. You never mention what else you are going to do. You should give the person who is interviewing you all the time in the world, because that person wants to get to know you a little bit, and you in turn should get to know something about that person. Don’t rush, don’t get up and wait until he finishes and that will be your cue that the interview is over. If you are in such a rush, may be you should have rescheduled to begin with."
