"Hi, I'm Doug I work with 20 great guys in Saint Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. The filler has the catalysis in it so it can harden in any thickness. It is a mixed blessing. It can encourage people to pile on the filler half a inch thick. The good thing is that the chemical takes the chemical reaction can take place in any environment. You know is somewhat temperatures sensitive but it is especially timed sensitive. Alex is not being hasty here but he is working in effectually because the filler is setting up as he works up. He would be able to get the filler applied and get it shaped hopefully before it sets up a notch so he would have himself a tough job sanding it. He won't try in this single application of filler to get everything in a exactly the right level. He would get it really close and then he would sand this filler after it sets up. Alex is applying the filler all of the surfaces that got welded. It is important to seal up the entire job from water and keep it from rusting. If you can tell the texture of the filler is starting to change, it is starting to harden up, so he Alex can tell by feel that he has unlimited time left to get the shape that he is looking for."
