"Hi. I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. In this clip, Alex is doing some more grinding on the pinch weld of the car. This is where the rocker panel and the floor panel of the car are welded together at the factory. The part that he's grinding on is the exterior part, so on the floor side, there's a part that's very similar coming down from the floor. That's what attaches the different panels of the car to one another. And like we did on the fender there where he was grinding away with the side grinder, a little bit of the rust and the body filler, he's exploring here. He's checking out to see how good this metal is; if it needs to be cut away. Naturally, we hope that it's strong enough so that we don't have to go to the additional expense and time necessary to do the repair."
