"Hi, I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Now, Alex is going to take a small side grinder and grind away the old body work and the old rust and the old paint. To get back to good, clean metal, we want to cut off all the rusty metal. We want to get all that old body filler off of there so that we can give our customer a good, clean repair. He's going to grind away on the rust until he's got everything removed back. We may get into that panel quite a ways before we get good clean metal because the body filler will have held rust against there and made quite a mess of it. If you look at the safety equipment that Alex is wearing, he has on a face shield to keep all the junk out of his face and his eyes, and he's wearing a respirator that pretty much just keeps the dust from getting in when he's breathing. That won't keep out any chemicals. It won't keep out anything dangerous like that, but you don't want to be breathing this stuff. You always want to wear good safety equipment when you are doing this work."
