"Hi! I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Another way that 3M has found to get my money, is that they invented this welding and spark deflection paper. Whenever we do a job that requires welding a nice finished car (heavy grinding- that sort of thing), we want to cover it with this paper. That protects the paint from sparks flying around, from little weld zoobies flying up and burning their way into the paint. And believe it or not, grinding and welding can damage glass, so we cover the glass and everything. It keeps any primer that we are spraying from landing on the work. It keeps everything generally clean. We often photograph a job when we have it all masked up like this to help the customer feel that we've done our best to protect their car. "
