"The evaporator coil and expansion valve, this is inside the vehicle. The dash has to be removed and it takes several hours to do. It's a big job on most vehicles. Again, the evaporator coil is going to look something like this, like a small radiator inside the vehicle; air passes through it, absorbs the heat from the interior of the vehicle. Post evaporator coil, anytime that you replace the compressor as mentioned before, you have to replace this accumulator. Accumulator has two line fittings on it and will have a strap as well. Pretty easy to replace. It's usually up against the firewall. Just remove the lines. Sometimes the lines can corrode and break, in which case you may have to replace the line assembly similar to this. Many times they have stripped out; this goes in here like so."
