"Hi my name is Mark Delgado with American Auto service for Expert Village. This is another diagnostic tool that could be used with It's an ultra violet light dies easily in most freeon oil. So when you charge you're system up and you're going to add oil to it the oil itself or you can just install the die. But when refrigerant leaks you'll be able to using this UV light point out where the leaks are two different ways. The electronic sniffer is pretty immediant where if there is no die in your system it would take a little while for it to leak out if it's a very small leak you may have to wait a week and then look at it again. But the electronic system if its a good one should be able to find your leak immediately."
