"Robert Wilkins, the Car Alarm Shop and what we are doing right here is part 2 of safety and security while working on the interior of the vehicle for Expert Village. When working around the under dash panel of a vehicle, you must stay away from sharp edges and components that could break the skin and give you instances where you see that you are bleeding bu6t don't know you are cut. Up here is very sharp edges of metal. You got to make sure when you are doing wiring under the vehicle, that you don't wrap any wires around the steering column. There is a rod that comes down and goes out to the drive axle on wheels. You want to make sure that no wiring is caught up in any moving components. Coming through the door you want to make sure that when you run your wires, you come through a rubber grommet because there is a sharp edge right here that when the door opens and closes, you don't want to fray that wire over the course of time."
