" Hi! This is Holly and on behalf of Expert Village I’m going to talk about exfoliating. This is something that you’ll do to your skin twice a week if you have oily skin or problem skin you may want to do three times a week but never two days in a roll. There’s a lot of skin scrubs on the market but avoid the ones that you’ll see with walnut seed, apricot seed find a more gentle exfoliate something that’s a grit and maybe a plant extract that will be a lot better for you and never put a scrub on directly onto your skin without using a little bit of water first. I recommend any scrub on the market to add water to it and that gives you a little more control and it also stays less abrasive so you’re still getting those dead skin cells off but you’re not tearing up your skin in the process. Using circular motions a little faster cause you’re trying to get that friction going this gentle friction all around the forehead, down through the jaw line and down into the neck avoiding the lips and avoiding the eyes just use scrub. Now you’ll want to remove this with a lot of water lukewarm water never too hot on the scrub. I’ll be removing it with a hot steamed towel but things to remember with scrubs is to not over do it and over scrub your skin to where you get irritated and the reason being for the more lukewarm water rather than hot water is cause you don’t want your face to turn red from the abrasives and the last thing you’d want to put on it is heat.
