" Hi! This is Holly and on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to talk about toning the face. The reason why you tone the face after cleansing is to remove every bit of last dirt that you have on your face and all the residual oils but also it creates the pH balance for your skin. All skin types have a certain level of acidity and that’s where you need to create a Ph balance and makes your skin more healthier. You’ll find a lot of toners out there over the counter never buy an alcohol base toner you want to make sure that you use a gentle natural toner and Witch Hazel can work wonderfully. Toning is simply taking that cotton ball soaking it down, never too dry but never to sloppy wet and just brush it across the face with that cotton ball getting into the corners of the nose, up and over the head make sure you get into your hairline that’s where you’ll fine you get a lot of blemishes in that because the dirt it accumulates not only from your makeup but from your hair products, so get around that hairline with toner make sure you thoroughly clean your skin and let it wait and absorb for a moment."
