" Thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. We are going to be discussing different makeup applicators, how to take care of them and how to clean them. The other applicators you use you have probably have seen is a sponge the makeup wedge. It is thicker on one side and it is thinner on the other and this is probably the most popular form of using foundation to apply it. You can also get these sponges in a circle and they come in white, they come in pink, but this is a typical wedge that you see. Really once you get it wet the sponge would expand and it would be quite large and you have to squeeze out all the extra water. Put it out maybe over some towels and let them dry and you can reuse them about five times. After you use it too much and you wash it and washed it actually would start falling apart. So you put a little bit of soap antibacterial and you kind of get it going and you rub it in there and you rub it in your hands and it would be really really sudsy and wash it out and wash it out. Rinse it with water and really squeeze out all the excess and don't be alarmed because your sponge will expand at least 3-4 times its natural size. So it would look really large. Squeeze out all the excess and leave it over the edge of a table or some area where you can hang it over the edge and let it dry. If you are using the sponge too often and you are really rewashing them they would start coming apart because they do come apart like this and you would start seeing pieces missing of it like that after you wash it. Or they start turning discolored, it starts turning a little yellow. So really about once a week every four days change it out and they usually come in a big package where you have about 20 sponges. If you take good care of them it would last a very long time."
