on 11/23/2008 Good info, but would recommend folks spray off dusty things like this outside or in the garage. That dust has to go somewhere and doesn't magically disappear just because you sprayed it off the fan.

" Hi welcome back to expertvillage.com. Next thing that we are going to do now is take out the drive here because they have a special fan sitting under the drive which I have to clean. I'm just going to loosen some screws over here. I will show you a couple of seconds. Now here I take out the plugs around the drive. There, there and this plug over here for the fan which powers the fan for the hard drive. Okay. There you go okay this is the hard drive gage which contains the hard drive over here and underneath is the fan over here, which I need to clean because it is all full of dust. Again, just take you can of compress air, hold it upright, blow some air around it. You see all the dust flying. There you go. A lot of dust. Go on top of the hard drive. There clean the back part where the connectors are there is still going to be a little bit of dust. Here is the fan underneath the drive. Hold it spray some air. Just make sure that you get every part that you can. Okay maintain the upright position of the can. Okay that is it for the hard drive next thing that we are going to clean now is the CPU fan right over here which I going to take apart."
