"Hi, this is Linda Lewis on behalf of Expert Village.com. Check out my website at www.keytime.com. On the home row of the Qwerty Keyboard, these are the letters and you can type a total of 120 words with these letters. This is the Qwerty Keyboard and on the Dvorak Keyboard with the vowels right on the home row and we use consonants on the right hand. With these letters, see if you can think for a moment, how many words do you think there might be? Do you think it would be 500? Actually there are 5,000 words on the home row with these letters without leaving the home row. On the Dvorak Keyboard you are on the home row so 70 percent of the time and on the Qwerty Keyboard you are off the home row 70 percent of the time. So this is a much more accurate keyboard because your fingers are staying right on the home row and you are basically just typing with your hands going on the same row and on the Qwerty Keyboard you are off the home row 70 percent of the time."
