"Hi, this is Linda Lewis on behalf of Expert Village.com. Check out my website at wwwkeytime.com. What is the home row? On the keyboard, there are three rows of letters and the middle one is actually the home row and that is where the fingers are going to stay anchored for you learning to touch type. With your hands on the home row, it is important when you are learning the keyboard to always go back to the home row. Once you have moved your fingers from the home run to another key to always go back to the home row and if you notice the two letters in the center, the g and h stand for go home that would mean your hands are in the proper position which is the secret of touch typing."
