Typing is a powerful skill set to have especially when applying for certain jobs or careers. Alphanumeric keyboards are seen on typewriters and computer keyboards and can accommodate almost any language. “Alphanumeric” simply refers to the representation of numbers and letters on the keyboard. There are other function keys as well including the “enter” key and the “backspace” key as well as a “control” and “function” key. Keyboards are used to communicate with the computer as well as to type words and numbers in any word document for the computer’s use, such as this summary! Keyboard skills are tested and evaluated on the number of keystrokes per minute the user can accurately type. As easy as this may sound, keyboarding is performed while not looking at the fingers, but rather at the screen. Also, the hands of the keyboard user must be in a certain position in order to type faster and more accurately.

"Hi, this is Linda Lewis on behalf of Expert Village.com. Check out my website at www.keytime.com. Why is keytime so fun and easy to learn? Conventionally, keyboarding is taught by wrote memory and the programs that are out there are basically working with a lot of bells and whistles on making a program that is the way the typing has been taught for over 100 years. With keytime, we use different modality of learning styles include all of them that we have visual so that you have a video that you are watching and are able to see the modeling of how the fingers go. For the visual we have fuzzy dots and for the audio that we have people saying we have harmonic clues that people will be saying the things out loud and it is very easy and fun. We teach the whole keyboard in just one hour."
