"I am Carolyn and I am going to demonstrate clipping the Persian’s ears. And you need to be very careful here because their little ears are thinner than tissue paper. So pull the sides or just like this and like you are going to take out this top so you look at the table on that, that way you can see her ear on the table. And you take off the top. Do it slow and usually if you get too close they will let you know and you don’t want to take off that tuft, the long pretty part and if you do not want to do with scissors, you can do it with your fingers. And I don’t know if they prefer either way. And hold that tuft down so you do not cut it. And I could not do this if I wasn’t looking at the table and able to see her ear through her hair, but see like I cannot cut it this way looking it hurt, because I cannot tell where the hair is and her ear is so you get a background. You are going to pull that tuft there, spread that hair up there and take off the top first. Just scissor real soft because you can feel if you have her ear in there and see that is much neater, cleaner and nicer when you scissor the top of the ears off and then just blend the ear around the top that you have cut off."
