"Hello! Peggy Charlton here for Expert Village on selling yourself. I have a great example. I was privileged to be on a committee that was picking the principal for our high school and they picked 3 teachers and I was one of them. I got to sit in and see really professional people and I got to be first to interview them and we had a panel of about 6 of us. We had 5 or 6 applicants that we interviewed. We had a person there that was absolutely tremendous. She happened to be a woman and the rest of them were men but she sold herself so well she would say thinks like. I would be the best person for this job because and she would tell us the reasons and so impressed and by the way, she did end up getting the job and being the principal and she has done a fantastic job because a lot of the things you sell yourself and you are very professional in your interview, Wow! he or she is going to be a potentially fantastic employee if he or she is this prepared as he or she has been in the interview.
