"Hi, I'm Kristi with WorkBlast.com and I'm here to answer some frequently asked questions about how to create a video resume. So, what will employers want to see? Always put yourself in the position of the hiring manager or employer. The best way to do this is to research on the company or industry that you aspire to work in. Employers want to know one thing, how are you going to help them meet their goals. They're not interested in much else. Employers have a job to do and that is to find the best possible candidates to fill their positions. The better your video sells you as the solution to their problems the more likely it is that you'll get an interview. Use your one to two minute resume as an opportunity to sell the employer on interviewing you, inspire them to pick up the phone and call you immediately to schedule an interview."
