"Hi, I'm Kristi with WorkBlast.com and I'm here to answer some frequently asked questions about how to create a video resume. So what if you're camera shy? Think of the camera as just another person in the room, pretend that you're talking directly to your next employer because you are. Some people find it easier to have someone in the room with them to help them feel comfortable sitting in front of a camera. Many of the professional videographers have access to a teleprompter. If you're extremely camera shy and want to create a video resume, seek out a professional to help. By preparing your message a head of time and loading it into a teleprompter you'll see a significantly more comfortable delivery and a genuine, unforced message to your employers. Whatever method you choose, be comfortable and be personable. Be yourself. If you're too serious it could hurt your chances so relax and have fun."
