Tips & Warnings:

  • Cheese keeps well when frozen. It tastes and looks good.
  • Cheese has fat. Fat has calories. But who doesn't know that?

Step1
Take any cheese. Slice it if it's in one piece.
Step2
Loosely pile slices inside a plastic bag.
Step3
Squeeze the bag lightly to get extra air out and tie the bag.
Step4
Put that bag with cheese in a freezer.
Step5
Use as needed.

on 2/7/2008 Great article! We Kept having problems with our cheese getting moldy. What a great idea to slice it up and freeze some. I solved our problem by putting the block of cheese in a ziplock bag and then ALSO putting it in an airtight Tupperware container.
