Step 1
Your hands are handcuffed. The proper that method most law enforcement use, is with your hands behind your back and palms facing out. The handcuffs may use a "chain" or "hinge" to hold the loops together.
-
Step 2
If your palms are facing out, turn your palms to face each other, this will make the steps following easier.
-
Step 3
While standing, bend over as far as your flexibility will allow.
-
Step 4
While bent over, push your hands down over your butt. Depending on the length of your arms this may be difficult or incredibly easy. If you find yourself having a hard time stretch your arms out and try to make a space large enough to squeeze your butt through.
-
Step 5
While still bent over, your hands should now be under your butt and under your legs. Try to get the handcuffs as low to the ground as you can (to your ankles if possible). If you have good enough balance, step backwards with one foot over the handcuff chain or hindge.
If you don't have good balance sit down, pull one knee up to your chest and push the handcuff chain up over your foot. Do the same to the other foot. -
Step 6
The handcuffs should now be in front of you.
