Tips & Warnings:

  • The key to mastering this technique is to have a smooth motion with your flipping rhythm.
  • Use this technique to get away with using less oil.
  • Open flames are dangerous, do not wear loose clothes that could catch flame.
  • Spilling, or rouge escapees may occur, be prepared to clean a little until your good at it.

Step1
Make certain the handle of the pan is securely attached to the pan.
Step2
Create you recipe and use the technique as follows. With high heat, and sufficient oil so that sticking does not occur begin swirling the pan in a slight circular motion. This should allow the mixture to start sliding around the pan, gaining a rhythm as they jump into a momentum line of travel.
Step3
When the mixture is getting to the point of mixing by turning over itself, get the motion of the pan going, and from the lip of the pan is where you will make the toss. Take the pan down, cut the circle short, and as you follow through, make a slight"J" motion to allow the food to travel slightly backwards, which will make the catch easier.
