How to Repair Caulk Cracks in a Bathroom Tub (Video)

Things You’ll Need:

• white silicone caulk
• caulk gun
• damp rag

1. If you have a new tube of caulk, you will need to cut a small hole (on an angle) in the funnel of your caulk tube. Insert a nail into the funnel to break the seal.
2. Apply a thin layer of caulk to the entire lining of your tub deck. Even if the crack is small, it is best to apply caulk to the entire deck, as shown in the video.
3. Use your finger to smooth out the caulk. The damp rag can be used to wipe off the end of the caulk tube as well as your finger.
