Step1

For a sus4 chords, start with a basic triad. Let's start with the F triad which is F-A-C.

Step2

Next, you -raise- the third of the chord (A in this case) up to Bb

Step3

Now you have a sus4 chord. To add the seventh to the chord, go up to the root (F) and go down one while step to Eb.

Step4

The entire F7sus4 chord is: F-Bb-C-Eb
