Tips & Warnings:

Make sure you choose an easy to remember password
If there are any other copies of the files make sure to disspose of them
If you forget your password it would be very difficuult to gain access to the files again

Step1

Highlight the files you want to protect and right click them

Step2

Once you have WinRAR installed the context menu should have a few options pick "Add to Archive"

Step3

Once the window has loaded up choose the tab at the top which says "Advanced"

Step4

On there choose the button near the bottom right which says "Set Password" and then enter your password and confirm it

Step5

Click OK and alow it to be added to an archive, now if you want to access the files you will be asked for a password
