Instructions

Text Size: +
Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Flatten out your dollar bill, right-side up. Newer bills of the larger denominations don't work, since they set the fellow's head off-center.
Step2
Crease each side behind GW's portrait, until the line that formerly read "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" now reads "TD STATES OIA" (the "I" is half of the letter "F").
Step3
Flip the bill. Fold the bottom corners of each crease up 90 degrees, from vertical to horizontal, and pick up the bottom of the bill into a half-inch horizontal fold. Do the same with the top.
Step4
Flip the bill again to onlookers' astonishment and praise!!

on 12/20/2007 Fold them for the customer's kids and you may just end up with a much larger tip. Great article. Servers need all the help they can get in the coming after holiday season.
