Tips & Warnings:

  • It may take a few tries to get your macro to work the way you need it to.
  • You can record macros for any number of things, including blending options and resizing.
  • Do not forget to enter Button Mode when you're finished with the recording.

Step1
Open up the "Actions" palette. Click on "Windows" and scroll down to "Actions" if it is not already showing.
Step2
Make sure "Button Mode" is disabled. To do this, click on the arrow on the top-right and uncheck "Button Mode."
Step3
Click on the Icon at the bottom that says "Record New Action". Give your macro a name and click on "Record."
Step4
Go through the actions you need for this Macro. In my video example, I have chosen to crop the image a certain dimension.
Step5
Once you're done with your steps, click on the "Stop" button to end the recording.
Step6
Go back to "Button Mode" and you should be able to see your new macro. Try it out with other images as a test to see if you need to re-record the macro.
