How to Use Flickr Uploadr to Upload Photos

Introduction

Flickr offers a distinctive way of sharing your photos with friends, family and the general public. They recently launched the new Uploadr software, which lets you upload photos easily. Here are instructions on how you can use Uploadr.

Tips & Warnings:

  • Flickr has a default limit of 100MB. You should be able to see your current usage on the top of the window.
Step1
Download the Flickr Uploadr software at the Flickr website (see Resources below for link).
Step2
Install and launch the program.
Step3
Upon launching, Uploadr will prompt you to authorize the program for use with your Flickr account. Do so.
Step4
Choose the photos to upload by clicking on the "Add" button on the top left, after you have signed in.
Step5
Select your photos. Hold down the Shift key to select multiple photos.
Step6
Click "OK." You will see all your photos loaded into the window. Make the necessary update to each individual photo.
Step7
Click "Upload" once you're done personalizing. That will initiate the upload process.
Step8
Close Uploadr when you are done.
