Before using chemicals in your home, try using several natural alternatives. Chemical pesticides may be dangerous to humans and pets.
Step1
Do you see little webs?
If yes, this could be a sign of a pretty terrible infestation.
Step2
A Mealy Bug Fuzzy
Do you see little white fuzzies?
These could be the larvae of mealy bugs.
Step3
Do you see little cream colored bugs with a magnifying glass?
That's pretty much what they look like.
Step4
If you have answered yes to all three of these questions, you've got Mealy bugs. Yuck. You have to start attacking the problem now or you will lose your plant and all the other plants in your home as well since the bugs hop from one plant to the next. Remove the infected plant immediately to a new room where there is no chance of spreading.
