How to use do it yourself (DIY) flexible plastic tubes on your centerpieces. They add color and height to your creation, and can also support a second level. Perfect for theme centerpieces and other party decorations. Suitable for bar and bat mitzvah centerpieces, engagements and weddings centerpieces, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, as well as other parties and corporate events. Tips & Warnings:

  • Low temperature glue is HOT! Be careful when handling the tip of the glue gun and try to avoid touching the glue until it dries. Also, have a piece of cardboard or other material to rest the gun on to prevent the glue from getting onto your table or work area.
Step1
Select a base, make a pattern to place your tube in its (base) center.
Step2
Make a groove in your base from a short portion of your flexible tube
Step3
Add low heat glue to the groove and place your flexible tube in the groove.
Step4
Check the vertical alignment with a bubble level
Step5
Add glue around the tube. Add glue around the tube. Add more low temperature glue around the outside of the tube
Step6
Add shred to your tube. Add shred to your tube. Add filler of your choice (here we use shred) into the tube.
Step7
Top off. Top off. Top off or cover (your choice).
