Take a square piece of paper. If you need to make a rectangular piece of paper squar simply fold the paper diaganly in half, and cut off the remaining strinp of paper at the bottom. Fold your squar piece of paper diaganaly two to three times. You should end up with a triangular shaped pice of paper.

Begin to cut various shapes in the folded paper. Please watch the video to get an idea of how this works.

Unfold the paper, tie a string to the snowflake and hang it somewhere for everyone to enjoy.

I used to make them as a teen by hundreds. I got into very complex patterns and designs and collected my snowflakes. Also, I used different color markers to draw the edges of all cut-outs. Great you share it with others!
