Sometimes, you might need to change the viewer that is used to display or open a particular file. Here are the simple steps to changing this option.

Tips & Warnings:

  • This is perfect for JPEG's that you wish to open with Photoshop or ACDSee for example.
  • You can always change it by going through the same steps above to specify a different application.
  • If you choose the wrong application, the file might not open up properly. In which case, never save it in as that would corrupt the file.
Step1
Navigate to the file that you need to change.
Step2
Right-click on the file name and click on "Open With."
Step3
Scroll down to the application you wish to open the file with and click on "Always use the selected program to open files of this type."
Step4
Click "OK" and your file should now be opened with the application you have selected.
