Text Size: +
Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Tips & Warnings:

  • You can create multiple accounts for multiple users. These users will be able to install programs to their own directories, independent of others.
  • Giving additional users Administrator rights is not advisable as they might be able to delete crucial system files accidentally. Do this only if you trust the person not to make any mistakes when they are logged in to their account.

Step1
Click on "Start" and then on "Control Panel."
Step2
Scroll down to "User Accounts" and double-click on it.
Step3
Click on "Create a new account." Give it a new name.
Step4
Next, give it either Administrator or Limited rights.
Step5
And then Finish. If you click on the account, you will be given the option to set a password for the account. Do so if you wish for the user to retain their privacy.
