Tips & Warnings:

  • When binding off, try to keep the same tension as your knitting.
  • The 3-needle bind-off is good for joining the shoulder seams of a sweater.
  • Knitting can be addicting!

Step1
To practice this technique, cast on a few stitches and knit for several inches.
Step2
place those stitches on a stitch holder.
Step3
With a different yarn, but the same needles, cast on the same number of stitches and knit for several inches.
Step4
Watch the video to learn how to do a 3-needle bind-off.
