Step1
Free breakfast with your oil change MAKE ALL THE NECESSARY PREPARATIONS:
Remember to check your vehicle out to make sure it is ready to go. An oil change is imperative! BONUS: Some dealerships/Garages offer Free Amenities (coffee, doughnuts, local newspaper) while you wait for your car--Save $$ on breakfast!
Step2
Unexpected route lead to an AMAZING VIEW along PCH If you like to have everything scheduled out, great. Make sure you have a rough itinerary of what you expect to do and the time schedule you want. Remember: Things on any road trip pop up unexpectedly, so be prepared to change plans here and there. MORE IMPORTANT: Be open to the spontaneity of road trips! You will appreciate the random moments, that will most likely be the most memorable.
Step3
Nature is relaxing and is a great part of any road trip. Save money where you can-- Camping is a great way to do this. Much cheaper than a hotel, and a lot more fun. Check out KOA camps around the country and make reservations-- Whether you choose to relax amongst nature with yourself or your party, or whether you choose to meet new people by walking around the campgrounds, you're sure to have a great time.
Step4
Yummy Fish 'n' Chips at Fisherman's Wharf-- Ask locals in the various places you visit where to find great food for even better prices. Most people will gladly direct you to the nearest mom and pop place where again, you'll save a buck and get the best food in town. (Sure to make Rachel Ray proud)
