Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
With the basketball in hand, position yourself to one side of the basket, giving yourself a full view of the backboard. Start your timer.
Step2
Pick a spot on the backboard to hit consistently, shooting the ball with your dominant hand (if you are right-handed, your dominant hand is your right hand). Shoot the ball by exploding with your legs toward the basket.
Step3
Rebound each of your shots and immediately shoot the ball again. Use your legs to go up strong. Count the number of baskets you can make in one minute.
Step4
Switch to the other side of the basket and repeat the same drill, this time shooting only with your non-dominant hand. Restart your timer. Count the number of baskets you can make in one minute.
Step5
Shoot the ball on alternating sides of the basket, using alternate hands. This form of the drill is also called the "Mikan Drill." Restart your timer. Count the number of baskets you can make in one minute.
