Step1
The first thing that you should do is power up the laptop that is running Microsoft Windows Vista.

Once the desktop screen is loaded, click on the "Start" icon.

Once you click on the "Start" icon, a new menu will appear. You must find and select "Control Panel".

Once the Control Panel has loaded, you will see a number of icons. Locate and select "Power Options".

When the Power Options screen opens, look along the left hand side. You will see a menu. Find the option that says "Choose what closing the lid does", and click on it to open.
