Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Mark two spots on the wall where you will hang your picture. They should be spaced about 1/3rd and 2/3rd the length of your picture. Use your screwdriver to cut an opening in the drywall, about 1/2" long and 1/8' wide. Pierce completely through to the back.

  2. Step 2

Push the RSM all the way through into the back of the drywall, while holding the flexible wiring with one hand. The wires are to keep the RSM from falling inside the drywall. Anchor the RSM on the back of the drywall by placing an anchor pin against each knot in the wire and pressing it to the front of the drywall. The wires must be tight after both anchor pins are placed. This is a temporary hold for you to screw in the bolt into the RSM.

  3. Step 3

Attach the wall hook (provided with RSM) with the bolt for your wired picture. Repeat on both sides. Remove the anchor pins and cut the wiring off. They are not needed for structural support any more. Hang your picture on the two hooks which are secured by the metal Retro-Stud. Straighten your picture as needed.
