You'll learn how to save your mirror and go green by adding woodgrain or acrylic strips to your existing mirror.

Tips & Warnings:

  • cut the strips slightly shorter than the lengths needed. The corners will sit ON TOP of the strips and hide any gap. No need to miter the corners.
  • If using the acrylic mirror system, start to peel off the protective covering before applying corners.
  • DO NOT use any chemical cleaning agents ie. ammonia on the acrylic mirror system. Pledge furniture wax works beautifully.
Step1
Measure and mark strips to size
Step2
Score the strips with the razor knife at desired length
Step3
hold strip firmly and snap crisply at scoreline
Step4
apply a few pieces of doublefaced tape and a small amount of glue between tape. Tape holds the strips in place while the glue dries)
Step5
do the same as step 4 with the corners
