Say your dog's name to get your dog's attention. Always get your dog's attention before you give a command. Once your dog is looking at you, you can move onto the next step.
Step2
Put a very desirable treat close to your dog's nose.
Step3
Move the treat up over your dog's head and lure your dog into the sit position as you say the command sit. Once your dog is in the sit position quickly give your dog the treat and praise.
