on 11/25/2007 Although ozone is somewhat effective in regards to odors since they are already in the gas-phase, it is absolutely ineffective at getting rid of the tar residue that emits the malodorous gas through the decaying process. So, ozone is, at best, only temporary. However, Vamoose 1808T not only eliminates the malodorous gas (volatile molecules) that are in the air, it also eliminates the tar residue that causes the odor in the first place. Vamoose is the most effective and efficient product available to the consumer today that completely and permanently eliminates odors caused from cigarettes and other forms of tobacco.

on 9/27/2007 Rather than using a chemical consider using a shock treatment ozone generator (rent one) that produces over 3500 mg/h. The ozone will oxidize the harmful stuff and revert back to oxygen leaving behind no chemicals.

This product's ability to address these type odors is based on a technology platform that is trademarked "Novexium", which the SL Parkhurst Corporation designed and patented. The Novexium technology has many different composites that specifically target certain volatile molecules (odors) and when applied, there is a chemical reaction that converts these volatile molecules into non-volatile inert salts (non-odorous). We do not recommend the purchase of this product for any application outside the elimination of tobacco smoke odor. However, if you already have the product on hand and wish to try it on other odors, try it and see what the results are. This product will have positive results on odors in which the source is alkaline (a ph level higher than 7).
