Difficulty: Easy

Step1
First, place the golf ball on the ground about eight feet directly in front of you. Second, lay the first club shaft down between your legs pointing directly at the golf ball and have your feet equidistant apart from the club shaft. Then take the second club and place it over the back of your neck with both arms holding an end of the club and get into your golfing posture.
Step2
Slowly start to warm up your golf muscles by making a turn to the right and then back to the left so that you are covering both sides of the golf swing. Keep building and speeding up on this back and forth motion as you continue to warm up your muscles.
Step3
You must note that as you do this you do it in the correct fashion, that is why we have the clubs out and the ball on the ground. If you are warming up correctly, when you make your warm up into the backswing the club shaft in your arms will point behind the club shaft on the ground and at the ball on the ground. If you do this incorrectly and have too level of a shoulder turn, the club shaft will point at the horizon instead of the ball in front of you. If you do your warm up too steeply then the club shaft will be pointing down at the ground between your feet and the ball in front of you. So you may be warming up your muscles, but doing it in an improper fashion.
Step4
So again, as you wind up make sure that the club shaft points behind the club on the ground and at the golf ball. Then as you go into your finish and continue your warm up, make sure that you finish over on your left side where you are able to tap your right toe on the ground.
Step5
If you warm up properly you will have less chance of injuring your muscles and a much better chance of hitting longer and straighter shots. Good luck with your warm up session.
