Tips & Warnings:

Hold the pen or pencil in front of a television or computer screen to add a dramatic visual effect.

Step1

Take your thumb and index finger and gently hold the pencil at the end where the eraser is.

Step2

Now wiggle it up and down.

Step3

While you're wiggling it up and down, you can see that the pencil gives off this illusion that it's bending like rubber.

Step4

Keep doing this until you get fed up with it.

on 10/30/2007 If someone tries to engage you in a deep philosophical or political argument that you're not prepared for, pull out a pen and look deep into their eyes (start the pen bending illusion) and say, "Oh yeah? Well what do you think about this?" :)
