on 1/12/2009 Of the six remedies I've tried chugging a glass of water and it doesn't work. As far as I know there is only one way to eliminate the hiccups: hotdogs. Make yourself 2 or 3 hotdogs with buns and eat them fairly quickly. You can put anything you want on them as long as you eat them piping hot. I know this sounds strange and possibly a gamble to the more weight conscious of you, but I've done it twice and it worked both times. You don't have to gargle water while upside down and rubbing your tummy and patting the top of you're head; keep it simple, folks. The hotdog method is fo' real.
