Summary: Throwing a football poses a problem for many people because of the ball's size and unique shape. But with a little practice, you can throw like a pro. More or less. A lot of it has to do with grip and hand size. The bigger hands you have, the easier throwing the ball will be.

on 9/15/2008 To throw a football start with the ball under your chin before you throw. Cock ur throwing arm back and follow through with your shoulderts and hips. When you release the football have your thumb pointing towards the ground

on 10/18/2007 how to throw a football further - for a righty leftfoot goes in front and as you throw ur right foot should follow. to throw far u have to throw a spiral or the ball wont pierce threw the air. also to throw far u have to let lose of the football as if u were throwing 10 yards becuse if u try to throw as far as possible u will mess up. throw as u would do not change ur posture. even though people throw side arm u shouldnt because that can damge your elbow. pratice makes perfect throw at least 5 times a week. pat

on 8/8/2006 To throw the ball while scrambling, you should throw the ball at an angle to the opposite side of your body, or else you'll end up throwing behind your receiver (when running to the right and being right handed). When scrambling to the left side, and being right handed, you should try to turn your body so that you are at least trying to throw it straight.
