Hi. I'm Johnny Mo the musical chef and this is how I cook frozen crab legs. Snow crabs are readily available in every market nowadays. They cook up super quick and super easy and they're fun for everyone. Here I have a pound of frozen snow crab legs. I got them right at the local market and they're ready to rock. We're going to use a classic steamer. This bottom piece lays in the bottom of the steam pot and separates the water from the crab legs. So the crabs are cooked only from the steam. Add a quart of water and turn that on high. After about 10 to 12 minutes when it comes to a boil gently add the crab legs into the pot. Cover them and let them steam for about 10 minutes. Be sure to keep your distance when opening the lid because the steam can burn you. Once these are done, put them in a bowl and serve them right away. Crab legs go great with Old Bay or lemon or even a little melted butter.
