I’m Lorelie, and this is cream cheese frosting with heavy cream. Regular cream cheese icing tends to be on the heavy side. By adding whipped cream to the mixture, you can make a nice light fluffy frosting to use on all of your cakes. Start by beating 16 ounces of room-temperature cream cheese with one and a half cups of powdered sugar, and one teaspoon of vanilla. In a separate bowl, beat one cup of heavy cream until light and fluffy. Now, you’re going to fold in the whipped cream into the cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy. Use this very elegant version of cream cheese frosting in eclairs, on cakes, cupcakes. And, just enjoy, because it’s absolutely delicious!
